Denver Broncos quarterback Paxton Lynch will reportedly remain on the team's 53-man roster after Saturday's cuts, according to Mike Klis of 9News.

Lynch's status appeared to be in jeopardy as the 2016 first-round pick struggled to impress throughout the summer.

The 24-year-old played sparingly in his first two seasons, completing 61.7 percent of his passes for four touchdowns and four interceptions.

Lynch is expected to serve as the Broncos' No. 3 quarterback, sitting behind Chad Kelly and starter Case Keenum on the depth chart.
