Raiders trade WR Switzer to Steelers

Matthew Emmons / USA TODAY Sports

Ryan Switzer has racked up his fair share of air miles this offseason.

The Oakland Raiders traded Switzer and a sixth-round pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a fifth-round pick, Raiders head coach Jon Gruden announced Monday.

The move marks the second time the young wideout has been dealt this year. The Dallas Cowboys - who drafted Switzer in the fourth round in 2017 - traded him to the Raiders in April for defensive tackle Jihad Ward.

Switzer saw limited time with the Cowboys during his rookie campaign, but did catch four passes for 32 yards in the season finale against the Philadelphia Eagles. He also has experience returning kicks.
