New York Giants tight end Evan Engram was ruled out for the remainder of Friday's preseason game against the New York Jets after leaving in the second quarter with a concussion.
Engram was hit by a pair of defenders after catching a pass from Eli Manning. He initially stayed on the ground and then walked off the field slowly.
The 23rd overall pick of the 2017 draft caught 64 of 115 targets for 722 yards and six touchdowns as a rookie. He led the Giants in receptions, targets, and receiving touchdowns while star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was limited to just four games.
