Dez Bryant's workout with the Cleveland Browns is scheduled for Thursday, sources told ESPN's Dianna Russini.

The free-agent wide receiver announced on Twitter last Thursday that he'll begin making team visits this week.

Multiple Browns players have publicly voiced their support for signing the veteran.

Receiver Jarvis Landry sent him a "ride with me" tweet last week, and quarterback Tyrod Taylor said he believes Bryant "could help this team." Even head coach Hue Jackson didn't dismiss the idea, saying you can never "have too many good football players."

The 29-year-old was released by the Dallas Cowboys in April after spending eight seasons with the team and becoming the franchise leader in receiving touchdowns.
