Less than 24 hours after being released by the Jacksonville Jaguars, wideout Allen Hurns is a hot commodity.

During an appearance on WFNZ The Fan, Hurns said close to 10 teams have reached out, including the Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets, and Oakland Raiders, to name a few.

The Jets, in particular, seem to be in hot pursuit of an upgrade at wide receiver, as the team has already met with Terrelle Pryor.

New York was expected to be the first team to meet with the former Jaguars receiver on Wednesday, but a snowstorm has altered those plans. Instead, Hurns will visit with the Cowboys, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson.

Hurns' future in Jacksonville became clouded following the signing of Donte Moncrief, who agreed to a fully guaranteed one-year, $9.6-million contract with the Jaguars on Thursday. Still, Hurns' release caught some off guard, particularly because he was slated to earn less annually ($7 million) than Moncrief.

After a career year in 2015 that saw Hurns reel in 64 catches and 1,031 yards with 10 touchdowns, the wide receiver and the Jaguars agreed to a four-year, $40-million extension. Since signing on the dotted line, a dropoff in production and multiple injuries has sealed the 26-year-old's fate, as Hurns has averaged only 10 games, 37 receptions, 481 yards, and three touchdowns in two seasons.
