The NFL will investigate allegations made by Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue that Buffalo Bills guard Richie Incognito used racial slurs during Sunday's wild-card game, a league official told Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The pass-rusher claimed Incognito used "weak racist slurs" in a tweet Sunday following the Jaguars' 10-3 win.

Rookie left tackle Dion Dawkins, who plays right next to Incognito, defended his teammate.

Incognito spent the entire 2014 season without a team after allegations of racially abusive behavior toward then-Miami Dolphins teammate Jonathan Martin came to light.

The veteran offensive lineman has been accused of dirty play by his opponents on multiple occasions throughout his career.
