The Vikings weren't the only NFC North foe to block a prospect from the Packers. The Detroit Lions blocked defensive coordinator Teryl Austin from interviewing with Green Bay for the time being, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported.

Finally, after interviewing Eliot Wolf for their GM job Thursday, the Packers were to meet with vice president of football administration Russ Ball and director of player personnel Brian Gutekunst on Friday with former Buffalo Bills general manager Doug Whaley to interview for the position on Saturday, according to Breer.
