New England Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett isn't remotely apologetic for continuing his career after being released by the Green Bay Packers.
Bennett was released by the Packers on Nov. 8 with a "failure to disclose a medical condition" designation, which he disputed, saying the team tried forcing him to play through a shoulder injury.
Now with the Patriots for a second time, Bennett is doing everything he can to help his team win its second consecutive Super Bowl despite his shoulder pain. He caught three passes for 38 yards as the Patriots routed the Denver Broncos 41-16 on Sunday.
"Last week I thought I was going to be on the IR ... right now, I'm just like f--- it," Bennett told reporters postgame, via Mark Daniels of the Providence Journal.
Bennett said he was getting ready to look into getting a desk job before the Patriots called.

Bennett said he was ecstatic when Patriots head coach Bill Belichick inquired about signing him, and promptly agreed, according to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald.
"After trying to get (shoulder) fixed and getting waived, you get that vengeance in your heart and you say 'f--- it, let's go ball,'" Bennett added, via Robert Klemko of The MMQB.
