Report: Cowboys' Gregory facing longer suspension after another drug violation
Dallas Cowboys pass-rusher Randy Gregory committed another violation of the NFL's drug policy and is facing a longer suspension, ESPN's Adam Schefter and Todd Archer report.
Gregory, who is already suspended for the first four games of the season, has also checked himself into a treatment facility, according to multiple reports, and will not attend Cowboys training camp.
Once considered a possible top-five draft pick, the troubled edge-rusher tested positive for marijuana at the scouting combine last year and fell to the second round.
The 23-year-old did not record a sack as a rookie and was handed a four-game ban for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy in February. Now, it appears it could be several more than four games before the Cowboys get Gregory back on the field.
