The Arizona Cardinals have hired five-time Pro Bowl safety Adrian Wilson as a scout, according to FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo.
Previously, Wilson was working with the Cardinals on a scouting fellowship.
Wilson retired as a member of the Cardinals last April after playing for the team from 2001-12. The 36-year-old also played briefly for the Chicago Bears and New England Patriots.
Known as a devastating open-field tackler, Wilson was named a first-team All-Pro in 2009. Wilson holds Cardinals franchise records for most career forced fumbles (15) and most passes defensed (95).
