Peyton Manning's twins, Marshall and Mosley, have taken to rooting for one of his old divisional rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs.
The former Denver Broncos quarterback spoke about his children's love of the Chiefs in a recent episode of Manning's ESPN+ series "Detail," recalling all of them attending the team's AFC divisional-round game against the Cleveland Browns last month.
"I actually took my kids to the Chiefs-Browns game a couple weeks ago, sat up there with Eric Stonestreet, that's Cam from 'Modern Family,' who basically looks like Andy Reid, I have to admit," Manning said, according to Ryan Mayer of CBS4 Denver. "My kids are decked out in Chiefs jerseys. They got (Patrick) Mahomes on, they got Tyreek Hill. (When) your kids are wearing Chiefs jerseys, you've just got to suck it up."
Marshall in particular is a big Mahomes fan.
"... We go skiing this past weekend, and my son's in a Mahomes jersey to ski in and his buddy Zack is wearing a Mahomes Texas Tech jersey," Manning said. "I mean everywhere I go, it's Mahomes, Mahomes, Mahomes. Tells you what kind of great player he is if he's got some huge 9-year-old fans out here in Denver, Colorado."
Mahomes' jersey was the NFL's best-seller on Fanatics during the 2020 regular season, edging out Tom Brady.
