Earl Thomas to Seahawks: Extend me, or trade me
Safety Earl Thomas took to Instagram on Monday to express frustration with his contract situation and give the Seattle Seahawks an ultimatum.
"Extend... if you don't want me let's make a trade happen I understand it's a bizz," Thomas said in the photo's caption.
Thomas' desire for a new contract is nothing new. The 29-year-old has stated he'll skip all team activities until the Seahawks grant his request for a reworked contract. He's expected to be a training camp holdout after missing spring OTAs.
The former All-Pro defender has also, however, reiterated his intention to remain in Seattle for the rest of his career.

Thomas, a six-time Pro-Bowler, is scheduled to make $8.5 million in the final year of his current contract.
