Report: Ibrahimovic house-hunting in Los Angeles

Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be swapping the refurbished cotton mills and drizzle of Manchester for the sparkly allure of Los Angeles.

The Swede is heavily linked with a move to Major League Soccer's LA Galaxy, and the switch may have shifted a step closer after sources informed ESPN FC's Rob Dawson that Ibrahimovic is looking for houses around Bel Air and Beverly Hills.

It's believed Ibrahimovic's transfer isn't set in stone, with the 36-year-old also considering another spell in Europe or even extending his stay at Manchester United. However, the striker has started just one Premier League match this season and hasn't featured since Boxing Day due to a knee complaint, potentially lessening the appeal of remaining in northwest England.

Alexis Sanchez's arrival from Arsenal in January shoved Ibrahimovic further down the pecking order after he was already playing second fiddle to Romelu Lukaku. United manager Jose Mourinho, a staunch supporter of Ibrahimovic, said last month he would "help" the veteran clinch a move stateside. The contract of the former Inter, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain artilleryman expires in the summer.

The MLS primary transfer window is open until May 1, with the secondary window open from July 10 to Aug. 8. The LA Galaxy already have three Designated Players on their roster in brothers Giovani and Jonathan dos Santos, and French winger Romain Alessandrini.
