Oakland Raiders receiver Amari Cooper was expected to miss his second consecutive game this week, but he has seen enough improvement in his injured ankle to push to play against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to ESPN's Dianna Russini and Dan Graziano.

Cooper will test the ankle in pregame warmup and if he is cleared to play, he will be on a "pitch count," per Graziano.

The wideout suffered the ankle injury and a concussion on a hard hit versus the Denver Broncos in Week 12.

The Raiders and Chiefs enter the critical AFC West duel tied at 6-6 with the Los Angeles Chargers for a three-way division lead.
