The Los Angeles Dodgers paid somewhat of a special tribute to umpire 'Cowboy' Joe West on Sunday as they took on the Atlanta Braves.

Players from the Dodgers used songs created by the umpire as their walk-up music.

West, who was behind home plate for the game, dabbles in country music and has even performed at the Grand Ole Opry.

Although it wasn't clear which songs each of the Dodgers used specifically, they made sure the fans in attendance only had to hear them once.

West has been a major-league umpire since 1976.
