The MWC announced Friday that fans could be allowed to attend, though each school's capacity limits will be determined by state, county, and local health departments as well as government officials, according to The Athletic's Chris Vannini.
Student-athletes, coaches, and other staff will undergo testing three times a week, according to The Associated Press' Ralph D. Russo.
Nine of the 10 FBS conferences have announced a return to action, leaving only the Mid-American Conference. The MAC presidents are meeting Friday to discuss a potential return.
The Pac-12 announced earlier Thursday that its football schedule will begin in November.
