Florida's 2021 recruiting class received a significant boost Sunday, as four-star cornerback Jason Marshall announced his commitment to the Gators.
The Miami native is the second-ranked cornerback and No. 42 overall prospect on the ESPN 300. He stands 6-foot-2 and offers sticky coverage skills for an incoming freshman.
Marshall received offers from a number of bigtime schools. He opted to join Florida over Alabama and Miami - the latter of which was considered the favorite for his services.
He becomes Dan Mullen's highest-ranked recruit in the 2021 cycle. The Gators landed just one top-100 commitment to date - four-star quarterback Carlos Del Rio.
