Louisville got a huge boost towards its playoff chances Saturday with Clemson losing to Pitt.
The shock of the Tigers losing looked to carry over to the Cardinals' game against Wake Forest, with Louisville coming out flat against the Demon Deacons.
The Cards trailed 12-0 early, and didn't get their first points until 18 seconds to go in the half, making it 12-3. Brandon Radcliff ripped off a 55-yard touchdown run in the third, but it was the final frame that Louisville finally looked like the No. 6 team in the country.
The Cardinals scored five touchdowns in the fourth to win 44-12, a string of 44 unanswered points.
