Here are some of the standout stats from the Huskies' latest dominant run of form.

17 - It's been 17 years since a defending champion reached the Elite Eight. Before this season, Duke was the last reigning NCAA tourney winner to reach the second weekend, making the Sweet 16 in 2016.

22.9 - Dan Hurley's squad won its last nine games in the Big Dance by an average of 22.9 points.

28 - UConn trailed for the first 28 seconds of Thursday's contest against San Diego State. It's the only time the Huskies have faced a deficit during this year's tourney.

30 - The Huskies' 30-point win was the most lopsided victory in the regional semifinal since 2017.

86 - UConn won its first three games by a combined 86 points. That's the ninth-largest margin of victory through the Sweet 16 since the NCAA Tournament expanded in 1985, according to Josh Dubow of The Associated Press.
