Estonian big man Henri Veesaar committed to Arizona, the 18-year-old told ESPN's Jonathan Givony.
Considered college's top international recruit in the 2022 class, the 7-foot center said the Wildcats' success with international players drew him to the school.
"It helps to fit on the team not being the only foreigner, and the play style is different because they are used to having different players from different continents," Veesaar said. "The basketball background varies a lot depending on where you grow up, so I think they have a nice mixture from different cultures."
Veesaar will bolster an Arizona program that went 33-4 last season under first-time head coach Tommy Lloyd en route to a Sweet Sixteen appearance.
