Ryan Mutombo, son of Dikembe, commits to Georgetown

Dikembe Mutombo's son is following in his father's footsteps.
Ryan, a four-star recruit in the 2021 class, announced his commitment to Georgetown on social media Sunday.

The 6-foot-11 center chose the Hoyas over Tennessee, Stanford, and Georgia.
Dikembe starred for Georgetown in the late '80s and early '90s before embarking on a successful 18-year NBA career. He was a two-time Big East Defensive Player of the Year and formed a potent frontcourt tandem with fellow Hall of Famer Alonzo Mourning.
