Memphis wing Landers Nolley II received a waiver from the NCAA and will be immediately eligible for the upcoming season, the school announced Thursday.
The ex-Virginia Tech star was one of the top-ranked transfers available this offseason. He registered 15.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest last season, earning ACC All-Freshman honors.
Nolley has three years of eligibility remaining.
Memphis is coming off a 21-10 campaign, which included a 10-8 mark in conference play. The Tigers are expected to be one of the AAC's top teams with the addition of five-star center Moussa Cisse and the return of starters Boogie Ellis, Lester Quinones, and D.J. Jeffries.
