Duke freshman Zion Williamson, projected by many to be the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft, has drawn comparisons to LeBron James with his tremendous athleticism and unique frame.

He's also drawing the attention of the James himself.

"What strikes me? His agility and his quickness," the Los Angeles Lakers superstar said, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin. "For his size, how strong he is, to be able to move like the way he moves, he's very impressive.

"I mean, everybody can see the athleticism. That's obviously - that's ridiculous. But the speed and the quickness that he moves (with) at that size is very impressive."

James is equally impressed with how Williamson has handled himself off the court. Much like the three-time Finals MVP, Williamson has been under the microscope since high school and James applauds the 6-foot-7 forward for taking every step of the process in stride.

"That's the type of s--- that strikes me," he said. "Everybody gets so caught up in the game itself. I look at the intangibles. And he seems like he has great intangibles and seems like a great kid."

Williamson is averaging 22 points, 9.3 boards, 2.3 steals, and two blocks per contest through 24 games played. The 18-year-old phenom was one of 30 players recently named to the men's midseason list for the Naismith Trophy, annually awarded to the top players in men's and women's college basketball.
