UConn sophomore guard Jalen Adams won't test the NBA waters and instead will return for his junior season, he confirmed.
Adams led the Huskies in scoring and assists this past season, averaging 14.4 points and 6.1 assists. He also grabbed 4.3 boards per game.
The news is good for a UConn program that's been treading water recently.
Four-star guard Makai Ashton-Langford requested his release Friday, while Vance Jackson announced his intent to transfer Wednesday. Last week, it was reported Steven Enoch is also looking to transfer.
