Vance Jackson to transfer after 1 season at UConn

UConn forward Vance Jackson is leaving the program after just one season.
Jackson announced the decision Tuesday with a statement on Twitter.

The former four-star recruit was off to a promising start to his collegiate career, averaging more than eight points a game in 2016-17. Jackson will have to sit out next season because of NCAA transfer rules.
It's the second disappointing loss for the Huskies this week, as forward Steven Enoch also asked for his release.
