Davis does not have a history of being an aggressive player, but could've been sticking up for Damian Lillard after Smith and the Blazers point guard got into a heated exchange moments earlier.
Davis had four points and two rebounds for Portland prior to the ejection. The 26-year-old has been very productive in his first year with the Blazers, averaging 6.4 points and 7.3 rebounds on 60.9 percent shooting.
