Report: Terrence Ross' deal with Raptors worth $31M over 3 years

The Toronto Raptors are paying fourth-year swingman Terrence Ross a tad less than initially reported on his newly signed three-year extension, which kicks in next season.
It was initially reported Monday that Ross would get nearly $33 million over three years, and according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, "nearly" means some $2 million shy, as Ross' deal will reportedly pay him $31 million.
It's also reportedly backloaded ever so slightly, with $10 million coming in 2016-17, and $10.5 million in both 2017-18 and 2018-19.
With the salary cap expected to jump from approximately $90 million next season to approximately $108 million in 2017-18, the salary hit will be comparatively minor in Year 2, and, most likely, Year 3.
