Unlike with some moves this offseason, the Sacramento Kings aren't making us wait for team confirmations, announcing on Thursday that they have signed center Ryan Hollins.

The team did not provide quotes from any front office or coaching staff members, nor did Hollins himself comment in the release. He did, however, retweet a report that he had been signed by the Kings on Wednesday, and responded to a tweet from former teammate Jared Dudley.

The potential impact of the Hollins signing is outlined in the post below, but expect him to compete for backup center minutes, leveraging his rim protecting ability to do so.
