We've officially gotten to the point in the NBA Finals where there is absolutely nothing to talk about.
On Saturday, San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said that big man Tim Duncan has expressed interest in playing point guard.
"The only thing Timmy's ever demanded is he wants to play the point,” Popovich said. “And he thinks I've held him back. True story."
When it was Duncan's turn at the podium, he verified the same sentiment.
“I've been arguing that point for years now,” Duncan said, “and I'm going to get your name and card and I'll get you in a room with him.”
Teammate Tony Parker didn't take the possible lineup change quite as seriously.
“Are we still talking about that? I can't believe they brought it up in the NBA Finals,” Parker said. “It's been a joke that Timmy thinks he's a great quarterback, like he'd be a good passer. I disagree with that. I want to keep my spot.
“Obviously, Timmy is a great passer. And so every time that Timmy takes the ball and he brings it up, I have to leave him alone at least once every 10 games.”
