Charlotte Hornets forward Kon Knueppel will miss at least four weeks due to a left hamstring strain, the team announced Sunday.
Knueppel re-aggravated a previous hamstring injury just six minutes into his season debut Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets.
The Duke product finished second to Cooper Flagg in last season's Rookie of the Year voting.
Knueppel averaged 18.5 points and shot 42.5% from deep across 81 appearances in 2025-26. He also led all players with 273 total triples.
Additionally, veteran guard Dennis Schroder will be re-evaluated in two weeks after sustaining a left hamstring strain as well.
Schroder has averaged 10.2 points, 4.8 assists, and 3.6 rebounds through nine appearances this season.
Charlotte acquired Schroder from the Cleveland Cavaliers in August as part of a five-team trade.
