The Giannis Antetokounmpo sweepstakes appear to be heating up.

The Miami Heat are seen as the front-runner to acquire the Milwaukee Bucks star, and their trade proposal will likely include Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., either Pelle Larsson or Kasparas Jakucionis, and draft capital, sources told The Athletic's Sam Amick and Eric Nehm.

The Heat can include up to three first-rounders in a potential blockbuster deal for Antetokounmpo.

Miami reportedly made an aggressive push to land Antetokounmpo at the trade deadline last February before the Bucks opted to hang onto the two-time MVP.

Milwaukee is seeking clarity from other suitors - the Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Orlando Magic - to determine what they'd be willing to offer before finalizing a trade, adds Amick and Nehm.

The Celtics would be the Heat's biggest threat for Antetokounmpo if he's willing to sign a four-year, $275-million contract extension with Boston, sources told Amick and Nehm.

Antetokounmpo is set to make $58.5 million next season and holds a $62.8-million player option for 2027-28.

For Minnesota to enter the sweepstakes, the Bucks reportedly want a package that includes Jaden McDaniels, Naz Reid, Terrence Shannon Jr., and the T-Wolves' two tradable first-rounders (No. 29 overall pick in 2026 and their own 2033 selection).

However, Minnesota intends to keep McDaniels and young big man Joan Beringer out of any trade for Antetokounmpo, per Amick and Nehm.

Bucks co-owner Jimmy Haslam said in May that he wanted Antetokounmpo's future settled before the NBA draft on June 23.

Antetokounmpo has spent his entire career in Milwaukee since being drafted 15th overall in 2013. The Greek Freak won Finals MVP honors in 2021 as he led the Bucks to their first championship in 50 years.

Antetokounmpo averaged 27.6 points, 9.8 boards, and 5.4 assists across a career-low 36 appearances this past season.
