Franz Wagner played a vital role in the Orlando Magic's 118-111 comeback victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Wagner returned to the starting lineup Thursday and put on a show in his hometown of Berlin, tallying 13 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter to help Orlando erase an early 20-point deficit.

Grizzlies star Jaren Jackson Jr. scored a game-high 30 points in defeat.

"It's super special," Wagner told Amazon Prime Video's JayDee Dyer on the court postgame. "Just being in the city for the last three days, seeing all the spots where I grew up, showing my teammates around a little bit. It's a memory I'll never forget."

Wagner hadn't played since Dec. 7 when he sustained a high ankle sprain versus the New York Knicks. The Magic went 8-8 during his absence.

The fifth-year forward rejoined his brother, Moritz, who recently returned from an ACL tear after a yearlong rehab.

Franz was off to a solid start prior to the sprain, averaging 22.7 points, 6.1 boards, 3.7 assists, and 1.2 steals across 24 appearances this season.

His 17.3% assist percentage ranks in the 85th percentile among wing players, per Cleaning the Glass.

Orlando sits sixth in the Eastern Conference with a 23-18 record following the victory.
