LeBron becomes NBA's all-time leader in minutes played

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has achieved yet another milestone as part of a record-shattering career.

With 10 minutes played during Thursday's contest against the Sacramento Kings, James passed fellow Lakers icon Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for most regular-season minutes in NBA history with 57,447.

It took the four-time MVP 1,517 games played to reach this mark. That amounts to 3,446,940 seconds, 957.5 hours, 39.9 days, and 5.7 weeks of NBA regular-season basketball played, according to the Lakers.

James, 39, became the league's all-time leading scorer when he surpassed Abdul-Jabbar on February 8, 2023.

The record 20-time All-Star also became the first player in NBA history to reach 30,000 points, 10,000 rebounds, and 10,000 assists.

James finished the 113-100 victory over the Kings with 19 points on 8-of-21 shooting to pair with six rebounds and seven assists.
