The Detroit Pistons are trading Marvin Bagley III and Isaiah Livers to the Washington Wizards in return for Danilo Gallinari and Mike Muscala, the Wizards announced.

Washington will also receive 2025 and 2026 second-round picks in the deal.

Bagley, 24, is averaging 10.2 points and 4.5 rebounds in 26 games for the Pistons. The second overall selection in the 2018 NBA Draft signed a three-year, $37.5-million deal with Detroit in 2021-22.

Bagley has one year and $12.5 million left on his contract, while Livers, Gallinari, and Muscala are all on expiring deals.

Muscala, 32, averages 4 points per game while Gallinari, 35, is scoring 7 points per contest.

Per ESPN's Bobby Marks, the Pistons will have $64 million in open cap space this summer.

The Pistons and Wizards will face off Monday afternoon in Washington.
