James Johnson is returning to the NBA after signing a one-year deal with the Indiana Pacers, his agent told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
This will be Johnson's second stint with the Pacers after appearing in 18 games for the club in the 2022-23 season. The 36-year-old averaged 2.8 points in nine minutes per contest.
Johnson, drafted 16th overall in the 2009 NBA Draft, has played for 10 teams in his 15-year career.
The Pacers are fifth in the Eastern Conference with a 13-9 record after making a surprise run to the In-Season Tournament final.
