There's no love lost between the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies.

As the clock winded down in their latest affair, Klay Thompson reminded Dillon Brooks how many rings he's won after the latter yelled, "You suck," from the Grizzlies' bench.

The barbs continued postgame with Thompson dismissing Brooks' relevancy.

"I don't care about Dillon Brooks," Thompson told Evan Barnes of The Memphis Commercial Appeal after Golden State's 133-119 defeat Saturday to Memphis. "When he retires, I don't think anyone will ever talk about Dillon Brooks ever again. I promise you. It's sweet right now, but wait 10 years."

During his on-court interview, Brooks admitted he has no trouble finding motivation whenever he faces the Warriors.

The sixth-year forward later added during his postgame press conference that he had no issues with Thompson's banter.

"He's got four rings. That's all he was saying. It's motivation to us," Brooks said. "We want a ring as well. Being able to go through the process of steps that we did last year, we keep going and learning from it all. It's friendly trash talk, but I just hold a lot of real estate over there in San Francisco."

Brooks isn't the only Grizzlies player Thompson's had words for. Following the Warriors' latest title win, the five-time All-Star called Jaren Jackson a "clown" and "bum" after the Memphis big man mocked the Bay Area club earlier in the 2021-22 campaign.

Thompson subsequently blasted the Grizzlies for their premature dynasty talk after a dominant Christmas Day win.

Meanwhile, Brooks recently threw a jab at Draymond Green's media career following Memphis' blowout win over Golden State. The former Defensive Player of the Year referred to Brooks as an "idiot" on his podcast just a day before the meeting.

The Warriors and Grizzlies have split the four matchups this season and could meet in the playoffs for the second straight campaign.
