Report: Lakers fear LeBron will miss multiple weeks with foot injury
The Los Angeles Lakers fear that LeBron James is likely to miss an extended period after sustaining a right foot injury during Sunday's comeback win against the Dallas Mavericks, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
James is slated to be reassessed in two weeks to check in on his progress, but he is expected to be sidelined beyond that point, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
James appeared to suffer the injury on a drive to the basket late in the third quarter but remained in the contest. The four-time Finals MVP was limping as he exited the arena postgame.

Los Angeles sits one game back of the New Orleans Pelicans for the final play-in tournament spot with 21 contests remaining. The Lakers are 5-9 this season with James out of the lineup.
