Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is expected to miss multiple weeks due to a left leg injury, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The team announced that an MRI showed Curry suffered partial tears to his superior tibiofibular ligaments and interosseous membrane in addition to a contusion to his lower leg. The 34-year-old left the third quarter of Saturday's win over the Dallas Mavericks and didn't return after colliding with Mavericks guard McKinley Wright IV.

Golden State said it will determine a more concrete timeline for Curry's recovery in the next few days.

The Warriors star was sidelined for 11 games in December and early January due to a shoulder injury. Golden State went 6-5 in that span.

Curry is averaging 29.4 points, 6.4 assists, and 6.3 rebounds this season.
