The Golden State Warriors signed guard Donte DiVincenzo to a two-year, $9.3-million contract, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

DiVincenzo's deal reportedly includes a player option for the second year.

The Villanova product finished the 2021-22 campaign with the Sacramento Kings after being acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks in a midseason trade. He averaged nine points, four boards, 2.8 assists, and 1.1 steals over 42 combined appearances with the two clubs.

DiVincenzo became an unrestricted free agent after the Kings chose not to extend him a qualifying offer.

The 25-year-old is a proven 3-point shooter and solid perimeter defender, which became needs for the club when Otto Porter Jr., Nemanja Bjelica, and Gary Payton II reportedly signed elsewhere Friday.

Golden State was able to retain a key piece from last season's title-winning squad, inking big man Kevon Looney to a reported three-year contract worth $25 million.
