The NBA suspended Denver Nuggets guard Facundo Campazzo for one game without pay for "forcefully shoving" Wayne Ellington of the Los Angeles Lakers during last Sunday's matchup between the two squads, president of league operations Byron Spruell announced Wednesday.
Campazzo was assessed a flagrant-2 foul and ejected near the midway point of the second quarter for pushing the Lakers veteran from behind. The backup floor general will miss Saturday's first-round series opener against the Golden State Warriors.

Campazzo averaged 5.1 points, 3.4 assists, and one steal over 65 appearances in his second season with the Nuggets.
The league also fined Ellington $20,000 for threatening Campazzo postgame on social media.
