Miami Heat forward Markieff Morris sounded off on Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic nearly two months after their on-court altercation.
"Ain't shit wild about it! It's a real injury! Imagine having a 300-pound sloppy fat boy run full speed and make direct contact with your spine! I'll be back soon like I said," Morris wrote on social media Thursday.
Jokic shouldered Morris from behind during a November matchup between the Nuggets and Heat. The sequence resulted in a neck injury for Morris, who has missed Miami's last 29 games.
Officials assessed Jokic with an unsportsmanlike conduct foul and ejected him from the contest. The league also suspended the reigning MVP for one game for his actions.
Miami inked Morris to a one-year contract this past offseason. The veteran is averaging 7.7 points and 2.8 boards over 10 appearances in 2021-22.
