The Milwaukee Bucks signed veteran center DeMarcus Cousins to a one-year deal, the team announced Tuesday.

Cousins' contract is a non-guaranteed deal, The Athletic's Shams Charania reports.

The four-time All-Star provides additional depth at the five behind Brook Lopez, who's played just one game this season.

Rookie Sandro Mamukelashvili and Thanasis Antetokounmpo saw some minutes during Lopez's absence, though neither made much of an impact.

Cousins split the 2020-21 campaign with the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers, averaging 8.9 points, 6.4 boards, and 1.9 assists over 41 combined appearances.

He was also productive for the Clippers in limited postseason action, registering 7.6 points in 8.3 minutes across seven playoff games.
