The Toronto Raptors signed free-agent forward Ishmail Wainright to a two-year deal, his agents told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Wainright played the past three seasons in Europe after starting 76 games for Baylor from 2013-17.

The 26-year-old spent the previous campaign in the LNB Pro A with Strasbourg, averaging 11.7 points, 4.7 boards, 2.5 assists, and 1.8 steals over 36 appearances. He also ranked second in France's top-tier professional basketball league with 63 total steals.

Wainright has proven to be a versatile defender and earned Big 12 All-Defensive team honors during his senior year of college.
