Bobby Portis is staying put in the Cream City.

The Milwaukee Bucks big man confirmed the news on social media just an hour after the NBA's free-agency negotiation period opened.

Portis inked a two-year, $9-million deal with a player option for the second season, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

He reportedly turned down offers from the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat to stay in Milwaukee.

Portis had a strong 2020-21 campaign off the bench for the Bucks, averaging 11.4 points and 7.1 boards while shooting a career-high 47.1% from deep. He also received six third-place votes in the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year race.

The 26-year-old played a key role during the postseason. Portis scored 22 points in the Bucks' Game 5 win in the Eastern Conference finals and added 16 points in the club's title-clinching victory over the Phoenix Suns.
