The Sacramento Kings have lost three in a row following a stellar 3-1 start, but star facilitator De'Aaron Fox rejects the idea that a pair of tweets from Marvin Bagley III's father has anything to do with their current slump.

"I don't think anyone is out there playing basketball worrying about two tweets," Fox told NBC Sports' James Ham.

Marvin Bagley II took to Twitter over the weekend to criticize Kings head coach Luke Walton's usage of his son in Saturday night's 102-94 loss to the Houston Rockets, saying, "Please trade Marvin Bagley III ASAP!"

It was the second time in quick succession that Bagley II used social media to lament his son's role with the team. However, Fox maintains the elder Bagley's public denunciations are just a drop in the bucket.

"If you are (worrying), this ain't what you should be doing because m-----------s are going to tweet you every day of your life while you're playing in this league," Fox added. "So if that's what you're worried about, then I don't know what to tell you."

The sluggish performance in Monday's 137-106 loss to the Golden State Warriors stood in stark contrast to the Kings' opening four games. Fox believes they moved away from what's worked best in the early stages.

"It was ball movement, body movement, guys touching the paint. We've been winning the glass battle. We've been getting to the free-throw line. We've been having a lot of points in the paint," Fox said. "That was our recipe."

Next up for Sacramento is a visit from the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday as the team kicks off a stretch of seven straight home games.
