Golden State Warriors forward Marquese Chriss will miss the remainder of the 2020-21 campaign due to a broken right leg, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Chriss suffered the injury during Saturday's team practice in Chicago, the Warriors announced Sunday. Golden State has already ruled Chriss out for their next contest on Saturday evening's injury report.
The former No. 8 overall pick will undergo surgery in the coming days.
Chriss averaged 6.5 points and 6.5 boards in two appearances this season. The 23-year-old started 21 games for the Warriors during the previous campaign.
