Chris Paul envisions himself possibly stepping into a governor role with an NBA team once his playing days are over.

The Oklahoma City Thunder guard and National Basketball Players Association president spoke about his future plans in an interview with Dan Roberts of Yahoo Finance.

"Man, that is a great question. I'm sure my team and everyone who works with me and helps me would love to know that answer," Paul said when asked what his "big picture dream" professionally is. "I would love to be, eventually, a governor of an NBA franchise. Obviously, I love the game. Like, I love the game, and I want to be a part of it for a very long time and just continue to grow our business, (production company) Oh Dipp!!! - continue to tell these great stories."

The 35-year-old Paul just completed his 15th NBA season and is set to enter the third year of a contract that will pay him $41.3 million in 2020-21.
