The date of the Los Angeles Lakers' championship parade is still unclear given the current circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

After consulting with the city and county of Los Angeles, the Lakers announced on Monday they'll hold a "joyful and inclusive" public celebration when it's deemed safe to do so.

While a parade is unlikely to be held in the immediate future, Lakers fans still managed to show their support by greeting the club as they arrived back to Los Angeles.

The Lakers captured the franchise's 17th title on Sunday, which ties the Boston Celtics for the most championships in NBA history.
