A second player on the Miami Heat has tested positive for COVID-19, according to Ethan J. Skolnick of the Five Reasons Sports Network.

The club has shut down its practice facility at AmericanAirlines Arena and will resume activities at the campus environment in Orlando, Skolnick adds.

It's reportedly believed the unidentified player was exposed to an associate who has also tested positive.

Forward Derrick Jones reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus last week, but he was said to be asymptomatic and is intent on playing when the 2019-20 campaign resumes later this month.

The Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers reportedly closed their practice facilities following positive coronavirus tests within each team's traveling party to Orlando.

As of Thursday, 25 NBA players have tested positive since testing began on June 23.

Miami holds a 41-24 record and sits two games up on the Indiana Pacers and Philadelphia 76ers for the Eastern Conference's fourth seed. The Heat are set to resume their campaign on Aug. 1 against the Nuggets.
