Nets' Temple to begin pursuit of law degree during NBA layoff

Brooklyn Nets guard Garrett Temple will use the NBA's hiatus to begin pursuit of his law degree.
"I've actually started practicing for the LSAT (law school admission test) prep," Temple told the YES Network's Michael Grady. "I'm a person that's thought about going to law school when I'm finished playing. What's a better time than now to be able to put in three or four hours a day of studying for a test that allows me to get into law school?"
Temple, 33, has some applicable experience in the field. He's currently a vice president of the National Basketball Players Association.
"I've always been a big-time debater," he said. "I'm pretty literal. When I get into arguments, I'm a person that you probably want to stop arguing with because I'm going to nitpick everything you say."
Temple has averaged 6.3 points in 569 career NBA games with nine teams.
